Add-ons are separate packages that extend Plant an App. Most add actions that connect to an outside service, such as Stripe or Salesforce, or that work with a type of document, such as PDF or Excel. Others add form fields, validators, Automation triggers, sign-in methods, storage providers or Search parsers.
Each add-on page explains what the add-on adds and how to set it up, and lists its actions under it in the menu.
Installed and licensed
An add-on has to be both installed and licensed before you can use it:
- Installed. The add-on's package is installed on the site. If it isn't, its actions, fields or providers don't appear anywhere in Plant an App.
- Licensed. Each add-on has a license feature, shown in the table below. Many add-ons check it when their actions run, and fail with a "not licensed" error if the feature isn't in your license. Others don't check it at run time. Each add-on page says which applies.
