Update PushWoosh Connector

Audience: Low-code Engineers

Skill Prerequisites: Actions, Tokens, Connectors

Changes an existing PushWoosh connector. The action finds the connector by its ID and saves a new title and API access token.

The update replaces the connector's details. An empty field clears the saved value, so pass every value you want to keep.

note

This action requires the Push Notifications feature to be licensed.

Typical Use Cases

  • Save a new API access token after you replace it in PushWoosh
  • Let users edit their saved PushWoosh account from a form
  • Rename a connector

Don't use it to

  • Create a connector. Use Add PushWoosh Connector instead.
  • Check that the new token works. The action saves it without contacting PushWoosh.
  • Update a connector of another type. Use Update Connector instead.
Action NameDescription
Add PushWoosh ConnectorCreates a PushWoosh connector and returns its ID.
Get ConnectorReads the details of a connector.
Delete ConnectorRemoves a connector.
Update ConnectorChanges a connector of any type.

Input Parameter Reference

ParameterDescriptionSupports TokensDefaultRequired
Entry IdThe ID (GUID) of the connector to change, for example [PushWooshConnectorId].Yesempty stringYes
Entry titleThe new name of the connector. It always replaces the current name, so an empty value clears it.Yesempty stringNo
API Access TokenThe PushWoosh API access token. Saved encrypted. Use ****** to keep the saved token. An empty value clears it.Yesempty stringNo

Considerations

  • Everything is replaced. The title and token are saved as entered. To keep the saved token without knowing it, pass ******.
  • The Entry Id must exist. An empty value fails with Data was not saved due to an invalid EntryId!. An ID that isn't found fails with Requested connector, with id '...', does not exist. A value that isn't a GUID also fails.
  • The connector type isn't checked. The action changes whatever connector the ID points to. If the ID belongs to another type of connector, that connector's fields are cleared. Make sure it's a PushWoosh connector.
  • The token isn't tested. You'll only find out that a token is wrong when a notification is sent.
  • Keep secrets out of the action. The editor shows API Access Token as plain text. Pass the value through a token instead of typing it into the action.
